Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport / Lhasa Railway Station. Our professional guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to the 3-star hotel for check-in.
To adapt to the high-altitude environment of Lhasa (3650m), no intense arrangement is made on the first day. After proper rest, start the urban cultural tour. Visit the iconic Potala Palace, a world cultural heritage and the most symbolic building of Xizang, which boasts grand Tibetan palace architecture and precious cultural relics.
In the afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism, and walk around the surrounding Barkhor Street to experience the local pilgrim culture and ancient street style.

After breakfast, continue exploring the core monasteries of Lhasa. Visit Drepung Monastery, one of the three great Gelugpa monasteries in Xizang, famous for its large-scale architectural complex and profound religious heritage.
Then head to Sera Monastery, well-known for the classic Tibetan Buddhist scripture debating ceremony, where you can witness the unique religious cultural performance.
In the afternoon, visit Norbulingka, known as the Summer Palace of Xizang, which is a classical Tibetan royal garden integrating palaces, gardens and temples.
Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Depart Lhasa in the morning, drive along the plateau valley highway. Arrive at Yamdrok Lake (Yamdrok Tso), one of Xizang’s three holy lakes. Enjoy the panoramic view of the turquoise lake, snow-capped mountains and vast grassland.
Continue the journey to visit Karola Glacier, a famous continental glacier with spectacular ice peak scenery, which is a classic plateau landscape shooting spot.
Pass through Gyantse County and visit Phal Cho Monastery, famous for its unique integrated architectural style of various Tibetan Buddhist sects and the ancient multi-story Pagoda.
In the evening, arrive in Shigatse for check-in and rest.

After breakfast, visit Tashilhunpo Monastery in Shigatse, the core landmark of Shigatse and the important temple of Gelugpa Buddhism, housing precious Buddha statues and cultural treasures.
Then drive out of the city to visit Sha Lhu Monastery, with a long history and unique temple art
and murals. Continue driving to Sakya Monastery, renowned as the “Second Dunhuang”, which preserves a large number of ancient Buddhist scriptures, paintings and historical relics with extremely high historical and artistic value.
In the afternoon, drive to Tingri County (the Everest service town) for accommodation.
Stay overnight in Tingri.
Early in the morning, depart from Tingri and head for the core scenic spot ― Mount Everest Base Camp (EBC). Enjoy the shocking view of the world’s highest peak Mount Qomolangma, overlook the snow-capped Himalayan mountain range, and take photos at the official Everest observation platform. Experience the grand and sacred atmosphere of the world’s top peak at an altitude of over
5200 meters. After visiting Everest Base Camp, return to Shigatse city.
Stay overnight in Shigatse.
After breakfast, drive back to Lhasa along the plateau landscape highway. Enjoy the pastoral scenery of Tibets valley along the way.
Arrive in Lhasa in the afternoon, finish the whole Tibetan journey. Transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station according to your flight/train schedule for your departure.
